# Connect an agent daybag is an MCP server at `https://daybag.io/api/mcp` over Streamable HTTP. Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients connect with an API key in the `Authorization` header; claude.ai and ChatGPT add it as a custom connector and sign in to daybag with OAuth, no key needed. Every API operation is a tool. URL: https://daybag.io/docs/connect MCP server: https://daybag.io/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP) ## Claude Code One command. Swap in a key from Dashboard → Developers. ```bash claude mcp add --transport http daybag https://daybag.io/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer daybag_live_…" ``` ## Cursor One file. Other MCP clients take the same JSON. Save it as .cursor/mcp.json: ```json { "mcpServers": { "daybag": { "type": "http", "url": "https://daybag.io/api/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer daybag_live_…" } } } } ``` ## claude.ai A custom connector with OAuth sign-in: no key to paste. MCP URL: https://daybag.io/api/mcp 1. Open Customize → Connectors and click Add custom connector. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds it under Organization settings → Connectors. 2. Paste the MCP URL and click Add. If asked how Claude identifies itself, choose Register automatically. 3. Click Connect, sign in to daybag and choose Allow. Allow lets the app act for your organization, like an API key. ## ChatGPT A custom app in developer mode, with OAuth sign-in. MCP URL: https://daybag.io/api/mcp 1. In ChatGPT's settings, turn on Developer mode. 2. Create an app for a remote MCP server: paste the MCP URL and choose OAuth. 3. Sign in to daybag when asked and choose Allow. Allow lets the app act for your organization, like an API key. ## Tools Every API operation is an MCP tool: 48 tools, named like the operation with an underscore, such as `bookings_create`. Reads are marked read-only; deletes and cancels, destructive. Reference: https://daybag.io/docs/api
