Terms of service
Last updated 2 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and daybag.io ("daybag", "we", "us") for using daybag. We kept them short and plain. By creating an account or using daybag, you agree to them.
What daybag is
daybag is booking software for outdoor outfitters: classes, appointments and rentals, run from a dashboard, a REST API, MCP or a widget on your website.
daybag is run by a one-person company. "You" means the business that signs up, and anyone it lets use its account.
Your account
You need to be at least 18 and use daybag for a business. Keep your sign-in email secure and your details accurate.
You're responsible for everything done with your account, including by the people and agents you give access to.
Plans and billing
- Free: $0.
- Pro: $39 a month, flat, billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Taxes are extra where they apply.
You can cancel Pro any time. It stays on until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it.
If we change prices, we'll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you.
Payments from your guests
Your guests pay you, not us. Guest payments run through Stripe Connect on your own Stripe account, and you are the merchant of record: you're the seller, and you handle charges, refunds, disputes, receipts and taxes.
daybag takes no cut of your bookings and charges your guests no fees. Stripe charges you its own processing fees under your agreement with Stripe.
Stripe's terms govern your Stripe account. You authorize daybag to create charges for your bookings on your connected Stripe account, and to share the booking details Stripe needs to do that.
Your activities and your guests
Bookings are agreements between you and your guests. daybag isn't a party to them and doesn't provide the activities.
You're responsible for your activities, staff, equipment, safety, permits, insurance and waivers, and for your own cancellation and refund policies.
Your data
Your data is yours: your offerings, schedules, customers and bookings. You let us host and process it only to run daybag for you.
You can take all of it out as JSON at any time (Settings → Download your data, or GET /api/v1/org/export), and you can delete your organization in Settings.
We process your guests' personal data on your behalf, as our Privacy Policy describes. You're responsible for having the right to collect it and for telling your guests how you use it.
API keys, webhooks and agents
API keys and webhook endpoints are your responsibility. Anyone holding one of your API keys, including an AI agent you connect, can act on your account, so keep keys secret and revoke the ones you no longer need. What's done with your keys counts as done by you.
We send webhooks to the URLs you choose, signed with your webhook secret. Securing those endpoints and checking the signatures is up to you.
Fair use
Don't use daybag to break the law, take bookings for anything illegal, send spam, misuse your guests' data, get into other accounts, or overload, probe or attack the service.
We may limit or suspend use that puts daybag or other customers at risk.
Changes
We keep improving daybag and may change or remove features. If a change takes away something you rely on, we'll tell you ahead of time when we can.
We may update these terms. For material changes we'll email you or tell you in the dashboard at least 30 days before they take effect. Using daybag after that means you accept them.
Ending
You can stop using daybag at any time and delete your organization in Settings. That removes its offerings, bookings, customers, API keys, webhooks and events from our database straight away. Backups may keep a copy for up to 30 days until they roll over.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Unless the law or the risk prevents it, we'll warn you first and give you time to export your data.
No warranties
daybag is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that daybag will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will never be lost.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, daybag is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, bookings, data or goodwill, even if we were told they might happen.
Our total liability for all claims about daybag is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $100.
Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against daybag because of your activities, your bookings, your content or your breach of these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs and losses from it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in California, and we both agree to their jurisdiction.
Everything else
These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about daybag. If a part can't be enforced, the rest still applies, and not enforcing a part isn't a waiver of it.
You can't transfer these terms without our consent. We may transfer them if daybag is sold or reorganized.
